Corrections

If something here is wrong, missing a source or unfair in how it is described, tell us. Corrections are welcome from people of any political view.

What to send

  • A factual error. Quote the sentence and give the correct fact with a source.
  • A better or missing source. Primary sources (Gazette, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha records, court judgments, Election Commission, CAG, RBI, NSO) are preferred.
  • A one-sided description. Point to the wording and say what is missing or loaded.
  • A score you dispute. Name the action, the criterion and the number, and give the evidence. See how challenges are handled.

How to send it

Open an issue on the project's public issue tracker. You need a free GitHub account. Everything is handled in the open so anyone can see what changed and why.

If you cannot use GitHub, you can read all issues at github.com/PBhadoo/indiareview.pages.dev/issues.

What happens next

  1. A reviewer checks the source you gave against the entry.
  2. Factual fixes are made and the entry's “last reviewed” date is updated.
  3. Disputed scores go to two reviewers who have not seen the earlier scores.
  4. The outcome, including a decision not to change anything, is recorded on the issue with a reason.
